Precautions during the running-in period of the gearbox
After the gearbox leaves the factory, there is generally a running in period of about 200 hours (after which the oil must be changed), which is a technical characteristic of the early use of the gearbox. The running-in period is an important link to ensure the normal operation of the gearbox, reduce the failure rate, and extend its service life. The technical personnel of Lianxing Transmission have provided the following precautions:
1. Reasonable selection of lubricating oil, especially for reduction motors with input power greater than 11KW, medium load gear oil must be used. Pay attention to regularly checking the lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, oil level and quality, and pay attention to checking the sealing of the entire machine. During the inspection, excessive oil shortage was found, and the cause should be analyzed. At the same time, the lubrication of each lubrication point should be strengthened. It is recommended to add lubricating grease to the lubrication points every week during the running in period (except for special requirements). When connecting a vertical gearbox with an oil pump to the power supply, pay attention to the rotation direction of the oil pump, and clockwise rotation is the correct direction.
2. Keep the reducer motor clean, adjust and tighten loose parts in a timely manner to prevent further wear or loss of parts due to looseness.
3. After the break-in period ends, the machine should be subjected to mandatory maintenance, inspection and adjustment work should be carried out, and attention should be paid to oil replacement.
In summary, the requirements for the use and maintenance of the gearbox during the running-in period can be summarized as: strengthening training, reducing load, paying attention to inspection, and strengthening lubrication. 2、 Installation, use, and maintenance of the gearbox:
1. The shaft extension axis of the reducer should be coaxial with the original power and load axes connected to it, and its error should not exceed the allowable value of the coupling used. Do not hammer when installing the coupling.
2. After the reducer is installed, inject the required lubricating oil into the oil pool of the box, and the oil level should be at the height between the upper and lower marks specified on the oil dipstick.
3. Before formal use, the reducer must be rotated by hand and must be flexible without jamming, and then operate without load for more than 2 hours. The operation should be stable, without impact, vibration, and oil leakage. The fasteners must not be loose.
